TLDR: We’re back with significant updates following our extended winter break. Since mid-January, our team has been diligently developing new features and improvements.

MaxiBlocks WordPress starter sites onboarding flow
😎 Starter sites: almost ready for launch
Our most requested feature is nearly here. We’ve completed 16 starter sites, with one fully polished and ready to showcase. These pre-built websites will enhance your design workflow. We will share more in the next update.
🚨 New icons for design and web
Kyra, our creative director, designed 88 icons for the upcoming MaxiBlocks website refresh. The icons are freely available in the cloud library. To use any of the 14k icons on a web page, simply load the Icon Maxi foundation block from the WordPress editor, select and choose a new icon. You can also see the icons in the demo library.
We’re updating our website to better showcase all the features and improvements we’ve made since launching two years ago. The new site will reflect how we’ve evolved into a comprehensive website building solution with all essential components now in place: blocks, patterns, plugin, theme, full site editing, starter sites and our streamlined onboarding process.
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback through our support channels about how we can enhance the website and highlight what makes MaxiBlocks unique. If you have any additional suggestions, please send us a quick email.

We’ve implemented comprehensive performance enhancements across both the Editor Experience and Site Editor:
- Optimised memory usage and rendering speed
- Enhanced Dynamic Content and Content Loop functionality
- Improved frontend performance with conditional script loading
- Expanded AI capabilities with support for additional models

The new onboarding flow, once completed, will simplify first-time setup:
- Install the plugin
- Complete basic setup
- Choose your preferred starter site
- Customise to your needs
This integration will make project initiation more efficient, particularly for new users.

🎉 UI refresh: cleaner, clearer interface
Kyra is creating a refreshed interface that’s more intuitive to navigate. The updated design improves visibility of key functions. We’ll share screenshots in our next update.
